US Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that fewer than 3% of childcare workers are men. The Bureau also estimates there are 1300 childcare workers in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. This means there are fewer than 40 male childcare workers. Our goal is to double this number by 2026.
